Aircraft engine lifter: The New Zealand Ministry of Defence has announced that it is seeking suitably qualified companies capable of supplying the Royal New Zealand Air Force with an aircraft engine lifter. The present requirement calls for a self-propelled diesel-powered system capable of lifting aircraft engines from ground level to a height of at least 7m (to the hook). The new system will be used for removing and installing engines on RNZAF aircraft. Companies interested in being involved in this procurement in any way should contact the issuing authority as soon as possible for additional technical and tendering information.
