Small/medium warships support - subcontract notice: The French DGA national armaments directorate has announced that it has selected several French companies to undertake the maintenance in operational condition of small and medium tonnage ships of the French Navy at ports around mainland France. The contract will comprise four lots and will involve maintenance and repair work to be carried out during major scheduled stops at the home ports of the various ships. The work will cover a period of 40 months. The selected contractors will also need to provide all relevant spares and accessories, as required. Since there are likely to be some subcontract or licensing opportunities associated with this program, interested companies should contact the issuing authority as soon as possible for more complete information.
