FINLAND
Wheeled logistics vehicles: The Finnish Ministry of Defence has announced that it has selected a number of companies to undertake the manufacture and delivery of military logistics wheeled vehicles for use by the Finnish armed forces. The MoD has worked out outline agreements for the purchase of a wide range of vehicles for the years 2008-2010. A comprehensive after-sales support agreement is also to be included. Since there are likely to be some subcontract or licensing opportunities associated with this program, interested companies should contact either the issuing authority or any of the following invited firms as soon as possible for additional information: Scan-Auto Oy AB, Sisu Defence Oy, Veho Group Oy, and Volvo Finland AB (all from Finland).
