Body armour carriers - subcontract notice: The Czech Ministry of Defence has announced that it has selected  local company S.P.M. Liberec s.r.o. to manufacture and deliver large numbers of body armour carriers for use by Czech Army personnel. The complete requirement calls for the delivery of the  body armour carrier system NPP-2006, its various components and all relevant accessories. The present procurement covers the delivery of 535 body armour carrying vests, 1,070 body armour units and 385 rear tabs, together with various quantities of a wide range of different ammunition carrying pouches for the NPP-2006 system. Potential subcontractors may be required to supply samples for evaluation purposes. Companies wishing to participate in any possible subcontract or licensing opportunities associated with this procurement should contact the issuing authority as soon as possible for more complete technical and tendering information.
