Aircraft tyres: The Australian Department of Defence has issued a notification seeking suitably qualified companies capable of undertaking the management and supply of aircraft tyres to the Australian Defence Force. The present requirement covers tyres for the F/A-18 Hornets, P-3C Orions, C-130H Hercules and DHC-4 Caribou aircraft fleets. A five-year open offer contract arrangement will be awarded to the selected supplier. The work will include the reconditioning of tyres, repairs, configuration management, storage and disposal. Companies wishing to participate in this procurement in any manner should contact the issuing authority directly as soon as possible for more complete technical and tendering information.
