Sand
damping mats
The DGA national armaments directorate has awarded French SME Deschamps a Euros 2.5 million (US$3.4 million) Urgent Operational Requirement (UOR) contract to supply 25 sand damping mats to the French Army Air Corps, for use at helicopter landing sites. Deliveries will start in April 2009, for completion in August.
