Machine gun spare parts
The French Army’s Direction Centrale des Matériels de l’Armée de Terre, or DCMAT Central Directorate for Army Materiel, has awarded Belgium’s FN Herstal a Euros 2.1 million (US$2.8 million) contract for the provision of spare parts. The parts are for the 5.56mm Minimi Light Machine Gun (LMG) and the 0.5in (12.7mm) Browning M-2HB Heavy Machine Gun (HMG).
