Consoles for Halifax frigates
St. John’s, Newfoundland-based Northstar Network Ltd. has received a C$2.6 million contract from L-3 Communications MAPPS Inc. to manufacture 66 Standard Marine Consoles and 60 Local Operating Panels as part of its Integrated Platform Management Systems (IPMS). The IPMS is part of the upgrade of the Canadian Navy’s 12 Halifax class frigates.
