Spares
for 105mm light guns:
The UK Ministry of Defence has announced that it is planning the procurement of
a wide range of spare parts for the 105mm light gun in British Army service. The
Land Supply Business Unit, part of the Defence Support Group, has a requirement
for a five-year enabling contract to provide precision metal worked components
in support of the light guns. The initial contract will be for a period of three
years, with an option to extend for
a further two years. The contract notice is scheduled to be issued on 1 October
2009. Companies wishing to participate in this program in any way should contact
the issuing authority directly, both to register their interest and to obtain
