Weapon
support services: The UK
Ministry of Defence is seeking suitably qualified companies capable of providing
comprehensive support services with regard to in-service fixed-wing and
rotary-wing variants of the CRV7 rocket weapon systems. The contract will
include the provision of design custodian services, routine technical support,
fault investigation and analysis, specialist technical support, modifications,
technical publications, procurement for repair and refurbishment, spares support
and ad hoc tasking services. The contract will commence on 1 April 2010 and run
for a period of three years. Since registrations of interest from potential
prime contractors were due as we closed for press, companies should contact the
issuing authority directly for more complete technical and tendering
