Aviation command tactics trainer upgrade - subcontract notice: The UK Ministry of Defence, through the FSAST/IPT, has a possible future requirement to upgrade the Aviation Command Tactics Trainer (ACTT), currently undergoing an earlier upgrade by Rockwell Collins UK Ltd.; this new upgrade is likely to be undertaken as an amendment to the previous contract (FSASTC/00075). This notification is being issued for the benefit of potential subcontractors. Among other capabilities, the new upgrade is expected to provide modernised target acquisition and designation sight functionality and after-action review facilities; and updated functionality to the attack helicopter software. The new contract is expected to commence on 31 October 2009. Companies wishing to be associated in any manner with this procurement should contact either the issuing authority or Rockwell Collins directly for additional information.
