Mobile
generator sets: The Swedish
FMV Defence Materiel Administration has announced that it is planning the
procurement of mobile electrical generator sets for use by Swedish armed forces
personnel. The current requirement is for the MGPS 150kVA mobile genset power
systems, housed on a trailer with diesel engine. The initial quantity required
is 12 complete systems, but the contract will include options for additional
orders until the end of 2015. The contract is expected to commence on 12 July
2009 and run for a period of two years. Interested companies should contact the
issuing authority as soon as possible for more complete technical and tendering
