Aircraft engine support - subcontract notice: The Dutch Ministry of Defence has announced that it has selected UK  company Vector Aerospace Engine Service (UK) to provide comprehensive maintenance support services for the powerplants on the Royal Netherlands Air Force fleet of C-130 Hercules transport aircraft. The current requirement calls for the undertaking of full maintenance, repair, modifications and overhaul work and the provision of engineering support with regard to T56-A-15 LFE engines. The contract will cover a three-year period, with an option for a further 12-month extension. The contract is expected to run until 31 March 2011. Since there are likely to be some subcontract or licensing opportunities associated with this program, interested companies should contact the issuing authority as soon as possible for additional details.
