Offensive
hand grenades: The
Netherlands Ministry of Defence has announced that it is seeking suitably
qualified companies capable of meeting a Dutch Army requirement for offensive
hand grenades (Gren Hand Off). The present procurement will cover the
manufacture and delivery of approximately 36,500 grenades, together with all
relevant documentation and the execution of type classification. The contract is
likely to include options for subsequent extensions. Companies wishing to be
involved in any way with this program should contact the issuing authority as
soon as possible for additional information, particularly as registrations of
interest from potential prime suppliers were due as we closed for press.
