Helicopter support: The French DGA national armaments directorate has announced that it is seeking suitably qualified companies capable of providing comprehensive maintenance and technical support services to the French Air Force and the Army's ALAT with respect to their fleets of Fennec helicopters. Some 60 machines are involved, 42 in the Air Force and 18 in the ALAT. The twin-engined helicopters will need to be made compatible with the latest ICAO regulations between 2010 and 2013. The selected contractor will need to undertake all repair, maintenance and regular servicing tasks on the helicopters. Interested companies should contact the issuing authority as soon as possible for more complete technical and tendering details. (Source: EDA Bulletin)
