155mm ammunition
Rheinmetall
Waffe Munition has been awarded
a €63 million (US$84 million) contract by the BWB national armaments
directorate to supply 30,000 rounds of its DM121 High Explosive 155mm artillery
ammunition to the German Army.
The DM121 uses
Rheinmetall’s newly-developed Rh26 insensitive explosive and is capable of
reaching a maximum range of 30km, at full charge.
