Mi-35 Hind E attack helicopters ordered
Under a contract valued at some US$150
million, Russian Helicopters will
deliver 12 Mil Mi-35 Hind E attack
helicopters to the Brazilian Army,
after winning a fierce competition against the AgustaWestland AW-129 Mangusta and the EADS-Eurocopter AS-665 Tiger.
“We have recently signed a
contract to deliver 12 Mi-35 helicopters to Brazil,” said Alexander Fomin,
Deputy Director of the Federal Service on Military-Technical Cooperation. “The
first deliveries will start by the end of this year or the beginning of 2010.”
