swap for C-295Ms?
The Czech Government has approved negotiations with EADS-CASA
for the swap of five Aero Vodochody
L-159 jet trainer / light attack aircraft, which are surplus to Czech Air Force requirements, for one C-295M military transport
aircraft.
A
proposed Memorandum of Understanding between the two sides also paves the way
for EADS-CASA to sell three additional C-295s to the Czech Government and
provide logistical support for them. In addition, EADS-CASA would have the
option of taking another five L-159s from the Czech Air Force, which could opt
for two more C-295s. ©
