RAN seeks 27 new helicopters

In early April, the Australian Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO) received responses from Australian Aerospace and Sikorsky to a Request for Information (RfI) on the supply of up to 27 new helicopters to the Royal Australian Navy (RAN).

The new helicopters are required to replace the RAN’s 16 S-70B Sea Hawks, five Mk50 Sea Kings and 11 SH-2G(A) Super Seasprites, procurement of which was cancelled in March. © DAPSS  S.A., 2008, Switzerland
