Naval weapons systems integration - subcontract notice:  The Polish Ministry of Defence has announced that local company Naval shipyard Gdynia S.A., as prime contractor for its warship program, is seeking suitably qualified companies capable of undertaking subcontract work with respect to weapons integration in warships it is modernising for the Polish Navy. The present requirement covers the delivery and installation of passive naval “soft kill” weapons systems (SKWS Terma type), as well as its integration with the ships’ existing BREN-R type system. The upgrades are on board the Polish Navy’s Type 421, 422 and 423 ships. No other details are available. Since potential subcontractors were due to register their interest as we went to press, companies wishing to be associated in any manner with this program should contact the issuing authority immediately for additional information.
