Track pads for armoured vehicles: The Netherlands Ministry of
Defence has indicated that it is seeking suitably qualified companies capable of
manufacturing and delivering large quantities of track pad assemblies for use in
Dutch Army armoured tracked vehicles. The present requirement is for such
assemblies for the in-service YPR765s. The initial requirement is for 13,728
complete track pads assemblies. The contract is expected to begin on 30 June
2008. Since proposals from potential prime suppliers were due as we closed for
press, companies wishing to be associated in any way with this procurement
should contact the issuing authority immediately for additional details.
