BELGIUM
Various types of ammunition: The Belgian Ministry of
National Defence has issued an advance notification of its upcoming requirements
for various types of ammunition during 2008. The procurement process will be
initiated during the first half of this year. The present requirement covers the
following: modifications to 30,000 fuzes; 870 105mm ILL WTF rounds; 780,000
12.7mm Link SR (Ball - Tr) rounds,
for delivery during the period 2008-2011; 3.9 million rounds of 5.56mm Link
(Ball - Tr), for delivery during 2008-2011; 8 million 5.56mm Blank Link rounds,
for delivery during 2008-2011; and 360 smoke, signal orange para rounds. No
other details are available at present. Companies wishing to participate in this
procurement in any manner should therefore contact the issuing authority as soon
as possible, both to register their interest and to obtain additional technical
and tendering information.
