AUSTRALIA

Cargo trucks:  The Australian Department of Defence has announced that it is seeking suitably qualified companies capable of manufacturing and delivering a large number of special cargo trucks to the Australian Army. The current procurement will cover the supply of three payload versions (3t, 5t and 9t) of the vehicles. The requirement is for 32 small, 56 medium and 24 heavy cargo trucks, with Pantech bodies and tailgate lifters. All vehicles must be delivered fully assembled and ready for deployment, each with at least 50-litres of appropriate fuel and all accessories and documentation. Companies wishing to be associated in any manner with this program should contact the issuing authority as soon as possible for the complete technical specifications and all relevant tendering documentation.
