Patriot
air and missile defence capabilities
On April 21, Raytheon
Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) was awarded US$241 million Foreign Military
Sales contract to provide the Republic of
Korea Army with command and control, commu-nications, maintenance support
and training equipment for the Patriot air and missile defence system.
This
production and support award complements the US$28.7 million engineering
services contract announced on March 3 (MPI
